Preschool
Preschool is a free program that provides Preschool Bible Classes are for children in our community between the ages of two and five. The classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 - 11:30 AM. Please contact Virda Stevens for more details.

Ladies Class
Ladies Bible Class is an indepth Bible Study for women of all ages that meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM. Please contact Virda Stevens for more details.

Small Groups
Small Groups are home Bible study groups that made up of five to eight adults. They meet on different nights of the week and are currently studying the life of Jesus. Please contact Dennis Lynn for more details

Our Theology:  Redwood Church has its roots in the American Restoration movement that produced the Churches of Christ, Christian Church, and Disciples of Christ. While some of those churches may have a sectarian reputation, we have emphasized the positive aspects of the Christian faith and avoided denominational issues. In fact, we want to live by the adage that we are “Christians only, but not the only Christians.”

About God:  God is the Creator and Ruler of the Universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and constitute one God.

About Jesus Christ:  Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from death after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again.

About the Holy Spirit:  The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation and guides the believer into a life of holiness and obedience.

About the Bible:  The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, through the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without error.

About Human Beings:  People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. We are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.” This attitude separates people from God.

About Salvation:  Salvation is God’s free gift to us all. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. We are saved by grace. We must accept what God has done for us through our faith in Jesus, which is expressed by our confession, repentance, and baptism.

About Eternity:  People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
