As the Redwood Church continues to grow we believe it is important that we grow larger and smaller at the same time. We invite the entire community to discover God’s love and join with us in the celebration of His life. At the same time we want for everyone at this church to have an opportunity to develop deep relationships with a few others through our small group program.
Our small groups consist of 8-10 adults that meet for prayer, Bible study and fellowship. They provide an environment for people to deepen their relationships with God and each other. The groups meet on various nights throughout the week for 1-2 hours.
Some of the benefits of joining a small group are:
• Building relationships in God’s family
• Giving and receiving encouragement
• Experiencing God through prayer and Bible study
• Recognizing and developing personal spiritual gifts
For more information concerning the Small Group Ministry please contact Dennis Lynn.
C.L.A.S.S. (Chrisitan Life and Service Seminars)
Redwood Church is a growing community of believers. Every week there are families from our community who are with us for the first time. We are excited that people in our community are coming to share God’s Word and His love with us. We are committed to helping everyone develop daily in relationship with God and one another. One of the important ways we accomplish this task is through the C.L.A.S.S. Seminars.
C.L.A.S.S. 101: Discovering Membership
C.L.A.S.S. 101 is designed specifically to give you a better understanding of Redwood Church. In this class participants will learn what the church teaches, how it is organized and what it means to be a member of the church.
C.L.A.S.S. 201: Discovering Maturity
C.L.A.S.S. 201 is designed to help you grow daily in your relationship to God. The class provides many practical resources to help focus and enrich your life through daily prayer and Bible study.
C.L.A.S.S. 301: Discovering Ministry
C.L.A.S.S. 301 is designed to help you understand the specific gifts, talents, abilities, and experiences that God has given to you. Through a variety of experiences you will determine how God has specifically shaped you and you will learn how you can use this to minister to the church and community
Please contact Glen Kauk for meeting times. Childcare is provided.

Children have always occupied a special place in the heart of Jesus and in the life of Redwood Church. Through a wide variety of activities, children come to know God’s love and grow in understanding and in character. There is a place for every child to grow and learn in our children’s ministry.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord".....Colossians 3:16
The Music Ministry role is to help our congregation experience the presence of God through song and praise. Through our worship times on Sunday mornings and during special events, the Music Ministry is a vital part of our life together where we as a family can express our praise through music.
Worship Leaders
Central to the Music Ministry at Redwood Church is our Worship Leaders. The worship team leads our time of praise and worship during both services on Sunday mornings. If you are interested in being part of the worship team and have completed C.L.A.S.S. 101 please contact Bill Anderson.
Special Music
Periodically during our worship services we include special music. We are always interested in finding people who would like to be involved in a special music group. In addition to having special music during our weekly worship time we also form groups to sing in special programs throughout the year. If you have an interest in participating in this type of group please contact Bill Anderson.
Prayer is at the center of all the activities of the Redwood Church. We believe in the power of prayer to shape our lives, our community and our world. We encourage everyone to develop a growing thriving prayer relationship with God.
Prayer Chain
Redwood church maintains a prayer network to immediately mobilize prayer whenever there is a need. Through this prayer chain many members can be notified of a crisis or prayer need in a very short period of time. For more information concerning the prayer chain contact Eleanor Fraser 592-1874 or Giuseppe Timpano 369-9544.
